The tone of certain staff on there was very clear they were pulled off hardware they preferred as there was some snark and assholish type comments so I cancelled it and that hurt cutting off having that magazine after so long. I also sold off the entire stack I had too as it was like a couple hundred pounds of paper.

I do miss the pre-CD era stuff, especially the old NES and SNES stuff, not so much N64 era, and I did love that mini run of their failed GBA Advance magazine too as it was pretty nice(4 issues total I think.) I could see trying to find the PDFs now that NP is dead meat for the NES/SNES/GB era stuff as the art, writing and the rest was just fun, much like the goofy manuals games got in the day too. HMM just looked it up, #97 (Dec 1994) is the last with the NES in it (Wario's Woods NES reviewed, last NES release by Nintendo) and around #105 is the last SNES one.
